Built for Baffin with Hannes Becker

When Hannes Becker set off on a 14-day traverse of Baffin Island’s Akshayuk Pass, he needed gear that could endure it all—fast-moving weather, towering granite walls, endless tundra, and the weight of supplies for two weeks in the Arctic. We answered that call with our first custom pack built in the new Norwegian studio.

Key specs:

  • 70 L capacity, with taped seams for complete waterproofing
  • Ultra-light build: only 950 g, including a removable aluminum frame, back foam, and countless functional pockets
  • Crafted from Challenge Sailcloth: Ultra100X body, 200X base, Ultra Grid side pockets, Ultra stretch shoulder straps, and TX50 inner compartments

On Baffin, the pack became more than gear. It carried food, shelter, and camera equipment while moving through moonlit valleys, beneath Mount Thor and Mount Odin, and toward the first light on Mount Asgard’s vast rockface.

From storm-battered tents to Arctic sunrises, this custom 70L pack stood as a trusted companion. Lightweight, durable, and purpose-built—proof of what’s possible when design meets exploration.
